Russ is great help especially to a newbie like myself. He helped me load 70 gallons of saltwater and even loaned me buckets after we determined that my buckets would likely leak. My aquarium plumbing had a leak and he came the next day and fixed it up. I havent bought livestock yet but he definitely is an expert and is very helpful and friendly. Im confident his livestock would be high quality.

I've made all my purchases from Aquarium Advantage. The aquarium, live rock, salt water fish, coral, food....Everything. I even had bi-weekly service appointments set up on Fridays until I moved from Frisco to Savannah. Once I moved to Savannah, I started getting horrible service. I even paid them to move my aquarium for me. Once the move was complete and the sand finally settled, I noticed my blood shrimp and a few hermit crabs were missing. You would think ?once they realized they still had them, I'd get a call to let me know. I made several calls and eventually had to go get them myself. Although I was annoyed ?, I continued to do business with them. I also wanted to continue with my service appointments. Russ and I spoke and he indicated Wednesdays would be better but he started showing up when it was convenient for him. It got to the point where he missed appointments and call a week or so later saying he showed me on the schedule ?. I'm pretty easy going ?, so as long as my aquarium was getting serviced and the water was tapped off I didn't make a fuss. A few months after my move, the ballast went bad so my coral suffered from no light ?. At first we thought the light needed to be replaced. I paid for the light to be ordered, got the run around regarding shipping and still once the light arrived, Russ took his time to come install it. After Russ installed the light, it didn't come on, it was then that he realized the ballast needed to be replaced. At this point I'm really concerned about the coral which Russ assured me would be fine. ?Waiting for the ballast was a nightmare ??. I had to call the store several times for updates. The last time I called, Russ was on vacation and the girl who answered the phone couldn't provide me any information on the order ?; however she covered for Russ quite well. Eventually the ballast was installed. My aquarium went over a month without the daylight it needed. Now my Xenia coral look very thin with no flow action and my Kenya tree is dead ?. I called Russ to discuss the coral situation and he said to give it a month and they'd be fine ?, if not he'd replace the Kenya tree. It's been over a month and I haven't heard from Russ. I finally accepted that since my move I am no longer a priority ?. I can even recall a time, during one of his off schedule visits, he mentioned a customer was upset with him and asked what he could do to make up for whatever happened. Although I was thinking he had a lot of nerve to be asking me that ?, I gave him suggestions. I've finally decided enough is enough. I've found someone else who's honest, informative, and extremely passionate at what he does ????. This guy even let me know I have things in my aquarium that shouldn't have never been sold to me ?. And the corals I'd purchased is the type that he actually throws away ?. My bad for not researching 1st. However I'm happy that Russ showed me who he really is.
